113th STATE CONVENTION
MONTANA KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

Dear Financial Secretary and Brother Knights:
Please share this information with your intended Council delegates, members, and their spouses who plan to attend the upcoming Montana State Convention to be held in Polson, Montana/. All information on the convention will be posted on the state website www.montanaknights.org . You can also find us on the Polson website: KofCPolson.org .
The most important things right now are:
1. Book your hotel room before March 31, 2017, which is the last day the room block at the Red Lion Inn is available at the reduced rates.. Reservations may not be made online. To receive the special rate please use the preferred method of making reservations by calling 406-872-2200 and ask for the Knights of Columbus rate. Room rates will be $89 for Single King or Double Queen. $109 for Suites.
2. Fill out and return the enclosed registration form for all Knights, delegates, and spouses who will be attending. Return this form to us by March 31 to ensure the lower registration rate Call number listed above to make your room reservation.
3. Also enclosed is the information on advertising in the convention program. Please consider purchasing ad space for your business and council.
Convention meetings and events will be held at the 80 room Red Lion Inn located at 209 Ridgewater Dr. Polson, Mt. 59860. .It is strongly urged you register early to assure rooms at the convention site. The inn hosts a McKenzie River grill, lounge, and swimming pool. If you opt to stay at a different hotel, we would encourage you to consider one of the Polson participating hotels who are generously sponsoring this convention. A listing of those motels will be sent later. Masses, & breakfasts, will be held at Immaculate Conception church on 4th ave. west. Ladies luncheon will be at the Polson Senior Center, Banquet will be at the Kwa-Tak-Nuk resort.
The official agenda will be sent in a subsequent mailing, including information on golfing (weather dependent), the Past State Deputies’ Dinner, Music/Social and the ladies’ agenda.
Other key points:
As is customary, a food drive will be conducted with donations given to the Polson Food Pantry/.
A silent auction is being planned, so please bring a donated item from your council. While handmade items are always encouraged, gift baskets and other items that appeal to you are always encouraged. Proceeds go to our state charity, Montana Hope Project.
If the weather cooperates, golfing would be available on Thursday at the Polson Golf Course.
All 4th Degree members throughout the state are invited to participate in the Mass Saturday at 4:15 pm at Immaculate Conception Church…
All delegates must be 3rd Degree, have a current membership card properly
validated by their Financial Secretary, and a rosary, to obtain access to the
convention meeting.
